1. Our Logistics Commitment At aroma-nest.shop, operated by HOMEXTRA TRADING SDN. BHD., we recognize that raw bird's nest is a precious and delicate natural resource. Our delivery policy is centered on "Integrity and Preservation." Every order is subject to a multi-point inspection to ensure that the moisture levels, grading, and weight are precise before being housed in specialized, impact-resistant packaging to withstand the rigors of international transit.
2. Fulfillment Timelines and Protocols
- Processing Period: Standard orders require a window of 2 to 5 business days for quality assurance and secure packaging.
- High-Volume Seasons: During seasonal harvests or peak festive periods in Malaysia, processing times may be adjusted to 7 business days. We prioritize the perfection of our raw materials over dispatch speed.
- Operating Hours: Our logistics hub operates Monday through Friday (GMT+8). We do not dispatch consignments on Saturdays, Sundays, or Malaysian Public Holidays.
3. Global Trade, Customs, and Import Compliance (Crucial) As a global supplier, aroma-nest.shop ships to a wide array of international destinations. However, raw bird's nest is subject to stringent agricultural and import regulations.
- DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): All international transactions are conducted on a DDU basis. The purchase price and shipping fees DO NOT include any import duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), or customs brokerage fees.
- Buyer’s Importer Liability: The Recipient (Buyer) is the "Importer of Record" and is solely responsible for ensuring the product's legality in their country and for the settlement of all taxes and duties.
- Customs Delays and Seizures: The Company is not liable for delays caused by local customs inspections or for any products seized, confiscated, or destroyed by foreign customs or health departments due to import restrictions or unpaid duties.
- Refused Shipments: If a shipment is returned to us because the Buyer refused to pay local taxes or failed to provide required import documentation, the Company will deduct all shipping costs and a 20% administrative fee from any potential refund.
4. Risk of Loss and Ownership The risk of loss and title for all items purchased from aroma-nest.shop pass to the Buyer once the product is handed over to our designated carrier. While we provide comprehensive tracking, we are not responsible for carrier-side errors or Force Majeure events.
